On Monday, the Israeli club also ruled out Jeff Dowtin Jr., with the 28-year-old point guard projected to sit out six weeks due to a torn ligament in his foot. Also, T.J. Leaf is likely to remain sidelined due to a recent calf injury. In contrast, recent signing Gabriel Lundberg is available to start his sixth journey in Europe’s premier club continental competition and first with Maccabi.
On the opposite side, with Peppe Poeta taking over from Ettore Messina, Devin Booker is expected to bounce back in the lineup after returning from the United States. However, Lorenzo Brown (left calf), Ousmane Diop (left knee), and Nate Sestina (right arm) remain out, alongside Stefano Tonut, who joined the senior national team of Italy for the upcoming FIBA window.
Heading to Aleksandar Nikolic Hall on Wednesday, Maccabi carries a 3-9 W-L tally and is involved in a last-place tie, while Milan, at 6-6, is tied with two teams at the bottom end of the Play-In Showdown zone.
