Dubai claimed victory in the opening game of the 13th round of the EuroLeague, defeating Paris at home with a score of 90-89.

The top scorer for the winning team was McKinley Wright with 24 points, Filip Petrusev added 19, and Justin Anderson contributed 12 for a team that played without Nate Mason, Dwayne Bacon, Aleksa Avramovic, and Dzanan Musa.

On the other side, Derek Willis was by far the best with 22 points, while Justin Robinson added 13 points along with nine assists, same as Nadir Hifi.

This excellent match opened a new round of EuroLeague competition. Paris, bolstered by the addition of Nadir Hifi, put up a great fight and, for most of the game, coach Francesco Tabellini’s team held the lead. The visitors entered the last ten minutes with a seven-point advantage (66-59), but Dubai managed to turn the game around.

The key moment came with 33 seconds left, when Wright stole the ball from Robinson, drew a foul, and made both free throws (88-86).

Paris still had a chance to force overtime or win, but Nadir Hifi missed a three-pointer 10 seconds before end, Dubai secured the rebound, and ultimately celebrated an important victory.

Dubai now has a 6-7 record and will visit Virtus Bologna in the next round, while Paris stands at five wins and eight losses and will face Monaco away next round.
