It wasn’t as easy as the final scoreboard might suggest.

But Zalgiris Kaunas didn’t miss and got another win.

The Lithuanian team defeated Baskonia 82-67 to jump to an 8-5 balance. The Spanish team, which has yet to win an away game this season, is now 4-9.

Sylvain Francisco had another amazing night, commanding the local comeback with 23 points and 11 assists. Ignas Brazdeikis (13 p.) and Azuolas Tubelis (15 p.) were also very important for the home team.

Thimote Luwawu-Cabarrot was once again Baskonia‘s top scorer with 19 points.

Baskonia’s last road win in Euroleague was almost a year ago, and for a moment, it looked like the terrible streak could end today.

Thanks to a 24-12 start, Galbiati’s team was dominating the first minutes of the game and was able to finish the first half leading on the scoreboard (42-37).

But then, Sylvain Francisco happened.

The French guard had another MPV-level game, leading its team to a comfortable win.

Starting the fourth quarter with a 54-54 on the scoreboard was no issue for Zalgiris: a 22-4 run was more than enough to secure the win even before the game ended.
