Shane Larkin will undergo surgery and will miss the next two months, confirmed by the Istanbul team on social media.

“Our captain Shane Larkin’s latest examinations and check-up have resulted in a decision for surgery on his left groin tendon, and the surgical operation has been performed in the United States.

Our doctor Uğur Diliçıkık, who stated that the surgery was successful, has indicated that our player will be away from the courts for 2 months following this surgery. Get well soon Cap!”

Larkin suffered a groin injury earlier in the month during a match that Anadolu Efes won against Bayern (74-72).

He missed matches against Barcelona and Monaco in the EuroLeague, and the cost of recent results was paid by Igor Kokoskov, who parted ways with Anadolu Efes.

Larkin has recorded 15.8 points per game so far this season in the EuroLeague, along with 4.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds.
