Cedi Osman and Richaun Holmes were unable to recover from a left ankle sprain and right knee torn medial collateral ligament, and have been ruled out for Round 14 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season with Panathinaikos Aktor hosting Valencia in Telekom Center Athens on Friday.

A new addition to the injury list, Alexandros Samodurov, is out as well. After recently undergoing left ankle arthroscopic surgery, Mathias Lessort remains sidelined.

In contrast, Omer Yurtseven is back from a groin injury after suiting up for the senior national team of Turkiye in the recent FIBA window, and Jerian Grant was medically cleared after overcoming an illness and practicing over the last two days, as confirmed by head coach Ergin Ataman, along with the remaining injury list updates in a pregame media session on Thursday.

Valencia is a dangerous team, as shown by their results so far. They play aggressive defense, run in transition. We must be careful in offense. We are starting a new series of games after such a long break due to the national teams. So, this game is important. I hope to get another win,” mentioned the 59-year-old play-caller, previewing the next continental challenge.

At the Valencia camp, Xabi Lopez-Arostegui was sidelined due to a right leg injury on Wednesday, and Braxton Key has been dealing with a minor right knee injury and is expected to sit out.

Heading to the Round 14 contest, the Greens are tied with Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet on top of the standings, behind a 9-4 W-L tally. At 8-5, the Taronges are knotted with five other teams between fourth and ninth.
