Monaco announced on its social networks the arrival of Cory Joseph, a former NBA champion.

Cory Joseph is Monegasque! With 14 NBA seasons under his belt and a 2014 championship, Cory Joseph (1.92m, 34 years old) is arriving on the Rock to bring his experience and his shooting skills.

The Canadian shooter will undergo his medical tests tomorrow and join the team. Welcome Cory!”

Cory Joseph started his career in 2011 with the San Antonio Spurs, where he played for four seasons and won an NBA ring in 2014.

He spent two years each with the Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, and Detroit Pistons, before moving to the Golden State Warriors in 2023. His last NBA team was the Orlando Magic, and Monaco will be his first club in Europe.

Additionally, the team of Vassilis Spanoulis holds an 8-5 record in the EuroLeague and will play against Paris on Thursday.

Monaco firstly needs to resolve the transfer ban in order to register Joseph for EuroLeague matches. Meanwhile, he could immediately suit up for Spanoulis’ team in the French domestic championship.
