Olympiacos is acquiring a player with 420 NBA games, with advanced talks underway with NBA guard Monte Morris.
According to Eurohoops sources, there’s optimism from the Greek club about a final deal sooner than later for a contract until the end of the season.
Olympiacos moved without fanfare, looking for the best possible solution, and the former Nuggets, Detroit, Minnesota, and Phoenix player is the chosen one.
The quality of the 30-year-old guard and his experience with 57 games in the playoffs counted in the final decision, as did the player’s desire to come to Europe to show that he can still be at a high level.
Serbian media “Telegraf” was the first to publish the information about an agreement, which, however, according to sources close to the talks, has not yet been finalized.
