Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet has ruled out Chima Moneke and Ognjen Dobric for Round 16 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.
The injured players remain sidelined with the Belgrade outfit taking on Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv in Jerusalem’s Pais Arena on Tuesday.
Zvezda officially labeled 29-year-old Moneke and 31-year-old Dobric as out for the next continental showing on Monday, before the team trip to Israel.
After a joint meeting, the Red and Whites travel to Israel for the first match of the Euroleague double round, which is scheduled for Tuesday at 20:05. #kkcz #WeAreTheTeam https://t.co/io6qHlDWiA

Moneke has been dealing with a calf injury over recent days, and is set to sit out a fourth straight game between Europe’s premier club competition and the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season. Starting in all 12 previous EuroLeague appearances, he tallied 14.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest.
Dobric has been stuck on the injury list since suffering a back injury in EuroLeague’s Round 14 contest opposite FC Barcelona in Belgrade Arena on December 5. He averaged 7.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.7 steals, and 0.4 assists per game over nine appearances, including three starts, until the setback.
“We still have players adapting or coming back from injury. We have to learn from this and have a positive approach toward the team. We have big goals ahead of us, and maybe it will be more difficult considering the schedule,” noted head coach Sasa Obradovic, previewing the next EuroLeague challenge, at the top of a double-game week.
Uros Plavsic (shoulder), Tyson Carter (pulmonary embolism), Jasiel Rivero (foot fracture), Isaiah Canaan (left knee surgery), and Joel Bolomboy (foot surgery) remain in recovery. However, the remaining players are available for the 56-year-old play-caller.
Entering Round 16, Zvezda carries a 9-6 W-L tally, tied with four other teams in fifth place, two games away from leader Hapoel.
