A great game was played in Athens, where Hapoel, the current EuroLeague leader, held on in the first half and even led after 20 minutes (45-46). However, in the second half Panathinaikos stepped on the gas, Kendrick Nunn woke up and played a brilliant second half, and with a 13-0 run at the turn from the third to the fourth quarter, the home team sealed the win.

Panathinaikos now stands at 11-6, with an away game against Zalgiris in Kaunas in Round 18. Hapoel has 12 wins and 5 losses and remains at the top of the EuroLeague. Their next round brings a clash with Bayern in Munich.
