LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne carries several injury issues from Wednesday’s game against FC Bayern Munich in LDLC Arena to the bottom half of the latest double-game week in the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season and a clash with Olympiacos in the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Friday evening.
Nando de Colo was ruled out after being diagnosed with a minor hamstring injury, as reported by local media outlet Le Progres on Thursday afternoon. Despite missing the away game in Greece, the 38-year-old combo guard is considered questionable to play in Round 12 of France’s Betclic Elite Regular Season against ESSM Le Portel in Le Chaudron on Sunday. So far in his 13th EuroLeague campaign, the two-time champion averaged 14.1 points, 4.5 assists, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per contest.
After sustaining ankle injuries in the first half of the two-game week, Glynn Watson Jr. and Mbaye Ndiaye are less than 100% heading to the next continental challenge. Meanwhile, 36-year-old Edwin Jackson is expected to be available for head coach Pierric Poupet, following just over two months on the sidelines due to a heel injury.
For the Reds, Monte Morris remains out, but has been set to debut in Round 11 of Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season opposite Kolossos H Hotels Collection in SEF on Sunday. Due to injuries, Tyson Ward (leg), Shaquielle McKissic (thigh), Keenan Evans (Achilles), and Moustapha Fall (knee) are unavailable for head coach Giorgos Bartzokas for the game opposite ASVEL as well.
Entering Round 17 of the EuroLeague Regular Season, Olympiacos is looking to improve the current 8-7 W-L tally and resurface inside the Play-In Showdown zone and approach the top six seeds, leading directly to the Playoffs 2026. The visitors are in last place with a 4-12 record, which is 4.5 games away from a Play-In berth.
