More and more players are crossing the Atlantic, with former NBA names increasingly joining the EuroLeague.
Recently, Cameron Payne signed with Partizan, and Isaiah Thomas could be next to follow that path and test himself in Europe.
At least, that’s what the former NBA All-Star suggested on social media, sparking a strong reaction across the basketball world.
“Thinking about slidin’ to the EuroLeague… I just want to HOOP,” Thomas wrote.
The post even drew a response from Malcolm Delaney, who shared his perspective on European basketball.
“Sh*t fun, bro… best basketball atmosphere in the world,”* commented the former Bayern Munich, Lokomotiv Kuban, Olimpia Milano and Barcelona guard.
As for the 36-year-old Thomas, he has spent his career between the NBA and the G League, totaling 556 NBA regular-season appearances and earning two All-Star selections in 2016 and 2017. In recent years, he has struggled to secure a long-term role, most recently playing for the Phoenix Suns in 2024.
