Real Madrid needed its best version to complete the comeback in France against LDLC ASVEL and get the 80-69 win.
Trey Lyles (21 points + 7 rebounds) and Facu Campazzo (15 p.) were Madrid’s top scorers.
The Spanish team is now 12-8 in the standings, despite missing Sergio Llull and Gaby Deck.
For ASVEL, Glynn Watson had 14 points. They’re now 6-14 at the bottom of the league.
Still, the hosts, who have to learn to live without Nando De Colo, closed the first half up by five (41-36).
Scariolo’s team reacted in the fourth quarter to grab the road win with Lyles taking action. The partial score in the last quarter, when everything was decided was 24-8 for Madrid.
