The midseason survey of the EuroLeague’s general managers

Euroleague Basketball presented the results of the annual midseason survey across general managers of EuroLeague teams on Tuesday.

A series of fan-focused questions was addressed around the midway point of the 2025-26 Regular Season.

A 75% of the votes on the most surprising team went to Valencia.

The GMs also made predictions on Final Four participants, with Panathinaikos Aktor reaching 95%, Fenerbahce Beko at 85%, Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv at 60%, and FC Barcelona and Olympiacos at 50% apiece.

Sergio De Larrea gathered 35% of the votes in this season’s Rising Star. Saliou Niang followed with 15%.

Moving to the best breakout season, McKinley Wright IV ranked first at 20%, with Sylvain Francisco at 15% and Jordan Nwora at 10%.

Facunco Campazzo and Kostas Sloukas shared a 25% lead in the question on the best passer.

On which EuroLeague player they would sign, the GMs went from Kendrick Nunn by 20% to Alpha Diallo, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Walter Tavares at 10% each.

Valencia, with 50%, was named the most fun-to-watch team.

Valencia, again, got 35% as the most uncomfortable opponent. AS Monaco went second with 15%.

The most spectacular player resurfaced Nunn at the top of players with the highest percentage, 25, with Francisco and Nadir Hifi following at 15% apiece.

This season’s best defender is Alpha Diallo, according to 30%. Tavares is second with 15%.

Andreas Obst had 50% in a question about the best pure shooter.

The best leader inquiry produced a 40% tally for Sloukas.

The best clutch player went from Nunn getting 40% to Mike James at 25%.

Pedro Martinez was selected as the best head coach by 45%.

And in the season MVP sweepstakes, Elijah Bryant topped the list at 30%, ahead of Sasha Vezenkov at 20% and Nunn at 15%.
