The visitors were at one point down by 12, but a second-half run led them to a victory

Hapoel Tel Aviv secured another EuroLeague victory by defeating ASVEL away in Round 22 with a score of 81-73.

Dan Oturu finished the game with 18 points and seven rebounds, and interestingly, all his points came in the second half. Elijah Bryant was also excellent with 17 points and six assists, while Chris Jones added 12.

For the home team, Glynn Watson recorded 17 points and five assists, while Shaquille Harrison ended the match with 14.

ASVEL had a chance to potentially pull off a big surprise on their home court. The home team started the game well and finished the first half with an 11-0 run, putting the scoreboard at 38-31 for the French team at that point.

The difference went up to a maximum of +12 (45-33), after which Hapoel started to play better. Bryant got going, followed closely by Oturu, and most of the points in the second half for the Israelis came from them.

ASVEL managed to bring the game into a tense finish, even having an attack to close the gap to a one-possession game, but they lost the ball, after which Bryant confirmed the victory for the visitors with his points.

Hapoel remains at the top of the EuroLeague with a 15-6 record, and in the next round, the Israelis will host Anadolu Efes. As for ASVEL, they have six wins and 16 losses, and in four days, they will host Zalgiris.
