Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv has signed Israeli forward Will Rayman to a new three-year contract, keeping him at the club through 2029.

The 28-year-old (2.03m) has become an important part of Maccabi’s rotation, averaging 6.4 points and 4.6 rebounds in nearly 17 minutes per game in domestic competition, while shooting 44.2% from three-point range and 39.1% in the EuroLeague.

His impact has also been increasingly felt in the EuroLeague, where he has recently earned a spot in the starting lineup.

Over the past two years, it has been a great privilege to play for Maccabi Tel Aviv, and I’m extremely excited to extend my contract with the club for three more years. I felt a real connection with the staff and the players, and I truly feel that I’ve found a home here. I’m looking forward to continuing to play in front of the best fans in the world and helping us win games and championships this season and in the years to come.

Head coach Oded Kattash also praised the decision to extend Rayman’s contract.

We are very happy that Will is extending his contract with Maccabi. He has proven the great value he brings to the team and his uncompromising commitment. His hard work is paying off, and he is on an exceptional upward development curve.”
