The Most Valuable Player of the 2024-25 season, Kendrick Nunn, is stuck to the injury report of Panathinaikos Aktor, heading to Round 25 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.
Dealing with a left ankle injury over recent weeks, the 30-year-old guard was already considered doubtful to play against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in LDLC Arena on Friday. Before being limited to the sidelines, Nunn tallied a team-high 19.4 points per game. Missing his scoring skills, Panathinaikos fell in both previous road fixtures over Rounds 22 and 24, but prevailed at home against Kosner Baskonia in Round 23.
The native of Chicago has reached a total of 96 appearances in Europe’s premier club competition, after previously logging 212 games played in the NBA. Following college basketball, he went undrafted in 2018 and spent the first five years of his professional career between the NBA and G League, before joining the Greek powerhouse early in the 2023-24 campaign. He went on to be crowned EuroLeague champion in 2024 and season MVP in 2025.
Besides Nunn, Mathias Lessort (left ankle) remains unavailable for head coach Ergin Ataman as well. In contrast, Richaun Holmes (illness) has been medically cleared, similar to Omer Yurtseven (illness), Cedi Osman (left calf), and Konstantinos Mitoglou (right hamstring).
Moving to the next continental challenge, the Greens sit inside the Play-In Showdown zone behind a 14-10 W-L tally, which is one game away from a direct ticket to the Playoffs 2026 and three games safe from elimination. ASVEL, which carries a healthy roster, is tied with Anadolu Efes in last place in the standings on a 6-18 record.
