Monaco will be without one of their stars for the next few weeks. Kevarrius Hayes has suffered a fractured cheekbone and will be out indefinitely.
The center will not travel with Spanoulis’ team for the two Euroleague games against Zalgiris and Bayern away from home. Hayes, 28, suffered a blow to the face last Friday in the 25th round of the European competition against Virtus Bologna.
Following the home defeat against the Italians, the former Paris Basketball player will visit a specialist, as reported by Nicematin, to determine whether or not he will require surgery.
Kevarrius Hayes, key player for Monaco, shares the center position with Daniel Theis. He is averaging 6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 17 minutes on the court. The current Euroleague runner-up is currently 7th in the standings with a 15-10 record.
