The off-court woes of Monaco are visible on the court, and Bayern Munich didn’t cut any slack to the guests.
The Germans got their fourth straight win (91-82) under new coach Svetislav Pesic, improving to a 12-15 record, while Monaco remains in the 10th spot of the standings with a 15-12 record after losing five straight games.
Andreas Obst, with 19 points, led a balanced team effort, as four more Bayern players scored in double digits, while the team shot 45% in threes (14/31).
On the other side, Mike James had a huge game with 30 points, which was not enough. Nemanja Nedovic and Jaron Blossomgame, with 12 points each, also scored in double digits.
The home team managed to build a 48-39 lead, Monaco trimmed it to five at the end of the third (68-63), and still Bayern entered the last three minutes of the game up by 14 points (84-70).
Mike James, with back-to-back threes, made it an 8-point game (84-76), but the guests couldn’t get any closer.
