Fenerbahce secured their sixth consecutive EuroLeague victory, defeating Paris 92-90 away in Round 27 of the EuroLeague.
Tarik Biberovic led the winners with 19 points, Talen Horton-Tucker had 15 points and six assists, while Wade Baldwin IV scored 14 points and also provided six assists in the team that played tonight without Devon Hall.
For Paris, Nadir Hifi was the leading scorer with 23 points, Jared Rhoden added 16, and Justin Robinson contributed 14.
The French side came close to snapping Fenerbahce‘s nine-game winning streak across all competitions, but ultimately fell short in the final moments.
The turning point proved to be the end of the third quarter, when Paris allowed the Turks to score six consecutive points in 30 seconds, bringing Fenerbahce back to within six points heading into the fourth quarter (68-62).
Drama ensued in the closing stages, but Biberovic, Baldwin, and Horton-Tucker were excellent down the stretch. Fenerbahce converted their free throws effectively, and despite nearly turning the ball over with five seconds remaining, they retained possession, with Horton-Tucker ultimately securing the triumph for his team.
Fenerbahce remains firmly atop the EuroLeague standings with a 19-7 record and will face Panathinaikos in Athens in the next round. Paris, meanwhile, sits at 8-18 and will visit Barcelona in a week.
