Anadolu Efes secured a victory in the 27th round of the EuroLeague by defeating Zalgiris at home, with a score of 92-82.

The top scorer for the winning team was Jordan Loyd with 19 points, and it was his three-pointer in the final minute that decided the game.

PJ Dozier scored 14, Nick Weiler-Babb added 13, and Ercan Osmani contributed with 12 points. On the other side, Azuolas Tubelis was the standout performer with 22 points, Nigel Williams-Goss added 19, and Moses Wright scored 11 points.

Most of the match was a hard-fought battle, with neither team managing to establish a significant lead. The decision came in the final moments, where the Turkish team handled it better and completed a perfect double round after their victory against Valencia.

Zalgiris had a three-point lead with three minutes left, but a 9-0 run by the home team followed, and Loyd’s three-pointer with 40 seconds remaining broke the game in favor of Pablo Laso’s team.

Anadolu Efes now stands at a record of 8-19 and will host Virtus Bologna in the next round. On the other hand, Zalgiris has 15 wins and 12 losses and will host Hapoel Tel Aviv in seven days.
