Moses Wright landed the Most Valuable Player award for Round 28 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.
Euroleague Basketball formally confirmed the 27-year-old Zalgiris center as the latest MVP of the Round on Saturday.
Per the press release: “A career-best performance propelled Moses Wright of Zalgiris Kaunas to Round 28 MVP honors, as he posted personal highs of 25 points and a PIR of 34 in a winning effort.

Wright led Zalgiris to a 93-82 home victory over Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv with 25 points on 8-of-10 two-pointers and 9-of-9 free throws. He added 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 8 fouls drawn to amass the highest PIR in Round 28. Wright earned MVP of the Round honors for the first time in his career and is the second Zalgiris player to earn this honor in the 2025-26 season. His teammate Sylvain Francisco earned Round 7 co-MVP honors along with Chima Moneke of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade.
Mfiondu Kabengele of Dubai Basketball reached a PIR of 32 in Round 28. He led Dubai to a 78-96 road victory over EA7 Emporio Armani Milan with 22 points on 7-of-10 two-pointers, 2-of-2 three-pointers and 2-of-3 free throws, along with 10 rebounds, 1 block and 5 fouls drawn.
Tamir Blatt of Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv and Juancho Hernangomez of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens each had a PIR of 31 in this round. Blatt led Maccabi to a 111-106 overtime home victory over FC Bayern Munich with 20 points on 6-of-6 three-pointers and 2-of-2 free throws, along with 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal and 1 foul drawn. Hernangomez had 18 points on 4-of-5 two-pointers, 3-of-4 three-pointers and 1-of-1 free throws, along with 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 fouls drawn in a last-second 83-85 home loss against defending champion Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.
Roman Sorkin of Maccabi rounds out the top individual performances with a PIR of 29. Sorkin had 21 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks and 4 fouls drawn against Bayern.
Individual highs: Andreas Obst, Bayern, 33 points
Andreas Obst of Bayern led all scorers in Round 28 with 33 points. Nadir Hifi of Paris Basketball is the competition’s top scorer at 19.5 points per game.
Hernangomez grabbed 12 rebounds, more than anyone else in this round. Nikola Milutinov of Olympiacos Piraeus ranks first overall at 7.4 rebounds per night.
Two players dished 10 assists in this round: Neno Dimitrijevic of Bayern and Thomas Walkup of Olympiacos. Crvena Zvezda’s Codi Miller-McIntyre leads the 2025-26 EuroLeague in assists at 6.9 per game.
David McCormack of Bayern, Kendrick Nunn of Panathinaikos and Nigel Williams-Goss of Zalgiris each had a round-high 4 steals. Alpha Diallo of AS Monaco ranks first (1.43 spg.), followed by Jimmy Clark of Maccabi and Nick Weiler-Babb of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, who each average 1.39 steals per night.
Khem Birch of Fenerbahce, Kai Jones of Efes and Bruno Fernando of Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade had 3 blocks apiece in this round. Walter Tavares of Real Madrid ranks first overall at 1.9 blocks per night.
Four players had a double-double in Round 28: Hernangomez (18 points, 12 rebounds), Kabengele (22 points, 10 rebounds), Dimitrijevic (15 points, 10 assists), and Jaylen Hoard of Maccabi (14 points, 11 rebounds).”
