Crvena Zvezda secured a victory in the 29th round of the EuroLeague, defeating Anadolu Efes at home with a score of 91-81.

Jared Butler led his team to victory with 21 points, hitting seven three-pointers.

Jordan Nwora added 14, while Chima Moneke and Codi Miller-McIntyre each contributed 12. On the other side, PJ Dozier scored 21 points, Isaiah Cordinier had 12, one more than Ercan Osmani, while Jordan Loyd scored 10.

Zvezda justified their role as favorites, and after two consecutive losses in the elite competition, they recorded a very important victory in front of their fans. Anadolu Efes remained competitive for most of the game, but the decision came in the fourth quarter.

That’s when Nwora got going against his former club, scoring five consecutive points, and Butler, with his seventh three-pointer of the game, sealed the victory in the packed Belgrade Arena (87-76).

Crvena zvezda holds a 17-12 record and will host Bayern Munich in the next round. For the moment, this record is enough for a three-way tie between the 5th and the 7th position with Barcelona and Zalgiris.

On the other hand, Anadolu Efes has nine wins and 20 losses, and they will seek their tenth victory at home against ASVEL.
