Hapoel Tel Aviv claimed a victory in the 29th round of the EuroLeague by defeating Olimpia Milano 92-86 on their home court.

Elijah Bryant had an outstanding game for the home team, finishing with 25 points, eight assists, and five rebounds, which earned him a 34 PIR. Vasilije Micic added 18 points, while Dan Oturu scored 16. Collin Malcolm also reached double figures with ten points.

The visitors, who were significantly weakened and came to Israel with only ten players, saw Zach LeDay score 22 points, Josh Nebo added 18, Armoni Brooks 14, and Leandro Bolmaro 11.

After five consecutive losses in the EuroLeague, a victory was imperative for Itoudis’ team. In the end, they achieved it with the phenomenal play of their main player.

Already in the first quarter, Hapoel gained a ten-point lead (29-19). The lead grew in the second quarter, but the Italians came back and even took the lead in the third period (57-58). However, their short rotation proved costly, and Hapoel, led by Bryant, turned the score around and ultimately triumphed.

With this victory, Hapoel moved into a tie for fourth place in the EuroLeague with a 17-11 record, and they are set to face Paris in their next game, which was supposed to be played in the 21st round. Olimpia Milano is slowly losing ground in the race for the play-in, with 14 wins and 15 losses, and they now face a home game against Barcelona.
