Real Madrid secured a victory in the 29th round of the EuroLeague by defeating Bayern Munich 93-70 in front of their home fans.

All 12 players from the home team scored, with Mario Hezonja leading with 16 points. Trey Lyles added 12, while Walter Tavares contributed 11. On the other side, in a Bayern team once again missing Andreas Obst, Justinian Jessup scored 17 points, and Xavier Rathan-Mayes and Nenad Dimitrijevic each recorded 11.

Just a few days ago, the Madrid team was somewhat surprisingly defeated by Baskonia in the Copa del Rey final. However, they have now redeemed themselves in the eyes of their fans.

Except for the initial 0-2, Real was in the lead the entire time. By halftime, the hosts had extended their lead to 20 points (53-33), and by the end, they simply closed out the game for another celebration in Europe’s top competition.

Real Madrid continued their climb up the standings and now holds an 18-11 record, with their next round featuring a match against Virtus, also at home. Bayern stands at 12-17, moving further away from the play-in zone, and in the 30th round, they will visit Crvena zvezda in Belgrade.
