Multiple players reach Europe from Dubai following coordinated effort by Dubai BC

Several Euroleague and BKT EuroCup starts managed to depart from Dubai and are already in Slovenia

Dubai BC has confirmed that several basketball players successfully returned to Europe after departing from Dubai. In a message shared while the team made a refueling stop in Egypt en route to Ljubljana, club representatives detailed the list of players who were assisted in their return to European competition.

Among the most prominent names were Iffe Lundberg, Lonnie Walker, and Jimmy Clark, Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C. players. Serbian powerhouse KK Partizan welcomed three arrivals facilitated through the same effort: Dylan Osetkowski, Shake Milton, and Duane Washington Jr..

French side ASVEL Basket saw the return of Adam Atamna and Armel Traoré, while center Anadolu Efes‘ Vincent Poirier was also on the plane.

Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu, from BAXI Manresa and Stedmon Lemon (Panionios B.C.) also traveled back to Europe thanks to Dubai BC’s efforts.

According to the communication, the group of players traveled directly to Ljubljana on a separate flight that also carried Next Generation Tournament referees, table officials, and several NBA scouts. Dubai BC’s aircraft required a technical refueling stop in Egypt before continuing its journey to the Slovenian capital, as it was of bigger dimensions.
