Euroleague Basketball announced sanctions concerning Round 29 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season on Wednesday, fining Fenerbahce Beko €12,000 and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet €7,500 for fan misconduct. Additionally, Panathinaikos Aktor head coach Ergin Ataman was fined €10,000 and given a conditional one-game suspension for his behavior toward officials leading to his ejection from the game against Paris.
Per the press release: “Euroleague Basketball has announced the following disciplinary decision pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 29 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.
EuroLeague Regular Season Round 29
- Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade has been sanctioned with a fine of €7,500, for the throwing of objects onto the playing court by its fans on occasion of the game Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade – Anadolu Efes Istanbul, under Article 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
- Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has been sanctioned with a fine of €12,000, for the offensive actions by its fans on occasion of the game Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul – Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, under Article 29.2.f) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
- Ergin Ataman, Head Coach of Panathinaikos Athens has been sanctioned with a fine of €10,000, and a one-game disqualification for his behaviour towards the officiating crew on occasion of the game Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens – Paris Basketball, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code. The game disqualification is conditionally suspended in accordance with Article 8 of the Disciplinary Code, and will be executed in the event of the Mr. Ataman committing a similar new infringement during the 2025-26 season.”
