Fenerbahce secured a convincing win in the 30th round of the EuroLeague, easily defeating Monaco at home with a score of 88-70.
Talen Horton-Tucker continued his impressive form in the EuroLeague, finishing the match against a big rival with 28 points (11/22 from the field) and eight rebounds. Bonzie Colson scored 14 points, including four three-pointers, while Wade Baldwin IV, Tarik Biberovic, and Mikael Jantunen each added 10 points.
On the other hand, Monaco arrived in Istanbul with only ten players. Nikola Mirotic was once again not in the team, nor was Yoan Makoundou, with whom they parted ways. In the end, Mike James was the top scorer with 14 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds, but he shot just 3/15 from the field.
The Turkish team won all four quarters in their favor and ultimately secured an easy victory. Monaco held on and managed to pose a threat with two consecutive three-pointers by Nemanja Nedovic at the beginning of the final quarter (69-62), but the hosts, led by Horton-Tucker, repelled the surge and secured the win.
Fenerbahce remains at the top of the EuroLeague with a record of 22-7, and in the next round, they will visit Crvena Zvezda. On the other hand, Monaco is in trouble, now sitting in tenth place with a 16-14 record. In the next round, they will host Olympiacos.
