Bayern Munich recorded a victory in the 30th round of the EuroLeague by defeating Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade with a score of 85-80.
Andreas Obst scored 16 points and led his team to victory, Xavier Rathan-Mayes added 13, and Neno Dimitrijevic 11. On the other side, Chima Moneke was by far the best with 22 points, while Jared Butler and Jordan Nwora added ten each.
From the start, Bayern was the better opponent in Belgrade. The Germans played good defense from the beginning, limiting Zvezda, and by the second quarter, they had gained a double-digit lead.
Zvezda managed to get back into the game, taking the lead with a series of three-pointers towards the end, but they couldn’t secure the victory. After a dramatic finish, the Germans turned the score around and sealed the win with confident free throw shooting.
Crvena Zvezda now has a record of 17-13 and will host Fenerbahce in the next round. On the other hand, Bayern has a record of 13-17 and will host Anadolu Efes in the next round.
