Euroleague Basketball has officially confirmed the rescheduling of the fixture between Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv and Paris. Originally slated for Round 21 of the 2025-26 Regular Season, the matchup faced multiple delays, having been suspended first in early January and again in early March.
As announced this Tuesday, the game is now set to take place next Tuesday, March 17.
Per the official press release: “The EuroLeague Regular Season Round 21 game between Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv and Paris Basketball that was suspended on January 9 and March 3, 2026 has been rescheduled. The game will now be played on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 with tip-off scheduled for 17:00 local time in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia, at Arena 8888.”
The inclusion of this game creates a triple-header of makeup fixtures. Two other previously suspended EuroLeague contests will be played on the same day, the Round 32 clash between Partizan Mozzart Bet and Dubai, and the highly anticipated Round 14 rivalry between Olympiacos and Fenerbahce Beko.
For Hapoel, the March 17 date is just one piece of a congested final stretch. The team is also scheduled for a continental derby against Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv on April 12, positioned critically between the final two rounds of the Regular Season.
Following the conclusion of the schedule, the top six seeds will advance directly to the Playoffs. This includes the top four earning home-court advantage in a best-of-five series for a ticket to the 2026 Final Four Athens presented by Etihad. Teams ranking seventh through tenth will compete in the Play-In Showdown.
