Serbian basketball prospect Nikola Djurisic has been officially announced as a new player of Crvena zvezda.

Djurisic joins the Belgrade side after completing medical examinations and has agreed to a contract running through the end of the 2027–2028 season. However, he will spend the remainder of the current campaign with KK Mega, where he previously played from 2020 to 2024.

Standing at 204 centimeters, Djurisic is a versatile guard-forward known for his all-around game. He was named the ABA League’s top young player and made his debut for the Serbian national team in 2022 in a match against Slovakia. In addition to his scoring ability, he is recognized for contributing significantly in rebounds and assists.

Djurisic’s decision to join Red Star was heavily influenced by his long-standing affection for the team, as the red and white team shared in the official announcement: “Despite interest from several clubs, Nikola’s arrival at Crvena zvezda was ultimately decided by his great love for the red-and-white colors, which he has never hidden! Nikola will be part of the “new wave” of Serbian players in our club starting this summer, from whom much is expected in the upcoming seasons. KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet wishes Nikola plenty of luck and success in the red-and-white jersey”.
