Maccabi Tel Aviv achieved a victory in the 33rd round of the EuroLeague, defeating Fenerbahce in Belgrade with a score of 94-89.

Roman Sorkin was the best in his team with 19 points, Jimmy Clark added 16 with eight assists, Oshae Brissett had 12, while Tamir Blatt and Marcio contributed ten each. On the other side, Nando de Colo was excellent with 26 points, Metecan Birsen had 14, while Chris Silva and Talen Horton Tucker scored ten each, in a team that played tonight without Tarik Biberovic.

Oded Kattash’s team played an excellent first half, which secured their victory. With great play, the hosts achieved a serious lead after 20 minutes (57-43). Fenerbahçe managed to come close and reduce the deficit to just one point (78-77), but Maccabi repelled the surge and eventually secured the win.

Fenerbahce is still at the top of the EuroLeague with a record of 23-10, but they have only one more win than second-placed Olympiakos. In the next round, they will play against Zalgiris in Istanbul in three days.

On the other hand, Maccabi has a record of 16-16, which has put them back in the Play-In race – they have two fewer wins than the series of teams tied from sixth to tenth place. In the next round, they will host Dubai at the same venue in two days.
