Chaos erupted after the match when some home team fans allegedly spat on the visiting delegation

Valencia is studying a public complaint made by Olympiacos, which reported that its president and some of his companions were spat on during the match between the two teams on Tuesday at the Roig Arena, as confirmed to EFE.

According to sources from the Greek club, the owner of Olympiacos Panagiotis Angelopoulos, his son, and other companions were allegedly spat on after the match in the Valencia, while they were leaving the venue.

Valencia has contacted Olympiacos to learn details of what happened and assured that if what the Greek club reported is confirmed, they will try to identify the perpetrators and will “immediately” take the “pertinent disciplinary and sanctioning measures.”

Olympiacos filed a complaint after the match in Valencia

Olympiacos expressed strong complaints about the behavior of Valencia fans, after the defeat (85-84) for the EuroLeague.

The “red-and-whites” report that a portion of the people of the Spanish team spat on the president of the Piraeus team, Panagiotis Angelopoulos, who was with his minor son, but also the vice president, Giorgos Skindilias.

According to the people of Olympiacos, this happened after the end of the game and during the departure of Angelopoulos and Skindilias. In general, Olympiacos complains that there was no security measure on the part of the home team.
