Paris secured a victory in the postponed 33rd round game of the EuroLeague, defeating Virtus in Bologna with a score of 103-82.
The top scorer for the French team was Nadir Hifi with 20 points, while Sebastian Herrera, Justin Robinson, and Yakuba Ouattara each added 14 points.
Mouhamet Diouf and Matthew Morgan led the Italians with 16 points each, and Luca Vildoza also scored in double figures with 12.
The game did not go well for Nenad Jakovljevic, who recently succeeded Dusko Ivanovic as the coach of the Italians, as Virtus continued their losing streak in the EuroLeague. The hosts took the first quarter in their favor (20-19), but Paris managed to turn it around by halftime (47-53) and easily maintained the lead till the end, marking young Julius Thomas’ first EuroLeague victory. Now, he is the youngest coach ever with a victory in this competition.
The two teams are now tied in the EuroLeague standings with a record of 13-21. Paris will host Olimpia Milano in two days, while Virtus will welcome Valencia at home in three days.
