Crvena Zvezda needed the road win in France and got it.

Still, it wasn’t a game without thrills, even if in the end the Serbs beat ASVEL 106-93 with Jared Butler and Jordan Nwora stealing the show.

Butler, with 24 points, just two missed shots, and five assists, was spectacular, while Jordan Nwora also added 24 points and big plays down the stretch.

Thanks to this result, the Serbs have a 21-16 record and secured a play-ins tournament spot.

Brian Angola scored 22 points for the home side, which remains last in the standings with an 8-29 record.

After a tied first quarter (26-26), Zvezda dominated the second, leading by 15 (50-35) and closing the halftime up by 12 (55-43).

ASVEL reacted in the third period and even led by five (67-62), but Zvezda got the lead back (74-71) at the end of the quarter.

The guests controlled the rest of the game, pushing their advantage to 10 points (84-74) and then to 12 (98-86) and not stopping until the end.
