Eugene Omoruyi led his team to victory with 22 points

Baskonia secured a win in Round 37 of the EuroLeague, defeating Virtus in Bologna 82–72.

Eugene Omoruyi was the standout performer for the Spanish side with 22 points. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot added 19, while Mamadi Diakite also scored in double figures with 11. On the other side, Derrick Alston Jr. had 19 points, Daniel Hackett scored 15, and Carsen Edwards finished with 13.

In a matchup between two teams already out of contention for both the Playoffs and the Play-In, Baskonia continued its strong recent form and recorded its third consecutive win.

The visitors took an early 15–2 lead, but Virtus responded and briefly went ahead in the third quarter. Still, Baskonia regained control and ultimately secured the victory without late drama.

Both teams now sit at 13–24, sharing 17th place in the EuroLeague standings. Virtus will close the regular season on the road against Maccabi Tel Aviv, while Baskonia will visit Partizan in Belgrade.
