Real Madrid secured a victory in the 28th round of the EuroLeague, defeating Crvena zvezda at home with a score of 103-82.
Mario Hezonja led Real to victory with 19 points, Facundo Campazzo had 16 points and eight assists, Theo Maledon added 12, while Usman Garuba and Andres Feliz scored ten each. On the other side, Jordan Nwora had 15 points and five rebounds, Chima Moneke scored 14, and Jared Butler, Ognjen Dobric, and Ebuka Izundu each contributed ten.
Real did what it had to, achieving a home win and securing home-court advantage for the EuroLeague Quarterfinals, in a match watched courtside by Novak Djokovic and Luka Doncic.
Zvezda got off to a better start, with a series of three-pointers to even the score in the first quarter, but they didn’t question anything until the end. The home team played much better in other three quarterrs and routinely win over Serbian team.
Real Madrid finished the season with a 24-14 record and will host the Quarterfinal series. On the other hand, Crvena zvezda finished the first part with a score of 21-17, and depending on the matches on Friday, it will be clear in which place they will finish it – it can be from seventh to tenth.
