Real Madrid vs. Crvena zvezda in the 38th round of the EuroLeague was not only drawing attention for what happened on the court.
Minutes before it started, two sports legends, Novak Djokovic and Luka Doncic, sat in the front row to closely watch the events at the Movistar Arena.
It was kind of a homecoming for the Lakers superstar, who spend his forming years as a Real Madrid player, winning the EuroLeague MVP and the EuroLeague trophy with the “Whites” before getting drafted.

Amidst a thunderous ovation, the former Real Madrid player, now recovering from a hamstring injury to be ready for the Playoffs, stood up to return the applause to the fans, where in just a few months, he established himself as one of the greatest in European basketball history.

Next to him was Novak Djokovic, who needs no introduction. The Serbian, still active in the ATP Circuit, came to see “his” Zvezda, especially in a city that he loves so much and that has given him so much affection in recent years.
