Dejan Davidovac has officially signed a two-year contract extension with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, confirming a recent report and solidifying his status as a cornerstone of the Belgrade club.

The veteran forward, who originally arrived at the organization in 2015, has agreed to a new deal that will see him wear the red-and-white jersey for his ninth and tenth seasons. In addition to his on-court duties, the Zrenjanin native will take on an elevated leadership role moving forward, serving as the team’s deputy captain.

A true standard-bearer for the franchise, Davidovac has compiled an illustrious resume during his long-term tenure. He ranks fourth on the club’s all-time appearances list with 473 games played and has amassed 2,955 points. His career with Zvezda has been defined by championship pedigree, featuring four AdmiralBet ABA League titles, five Serbian League championships, four Radivoj Korac Cups, and an ABA Super Cup. His ability to impact winning was most recently highlighted when he captured the Most Valuable Player award for the AdmiralBet Basketball League of Serbia Finals 2024.

Aside from a brief one-year stint in Russia with CSKA, the 31-year-old combo forward has dedicated his entire senior career to the Serbian powerhouse. In the EuroLeague, Davidovac brings the stability of 189 games of elite continental experience, where he averaged 2.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per game last season.

His reliability has translated seamlessly to the international stage as well, where he helped guide the Serbian national team to a silver medal at the FIBA World Cup 2023 and a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
