Beşiktaş has officially announced the signing of Turkish international Furkan Korkmaz ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Korkmaz joins the club after spending the 2025-26 campaign with TOFAŞ, adding another experienced name to Beşiktaş’s roster.

Korkmaz began his professional career with Anadolu Efes before being selected 26th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2016 NBA Draft.

During his career, he has also played for AS Monaco and the Philadelphia 76ers, bringing extensive EuroLeague, NBA, and international experience to Beşiktaş.

The Turkish club also announced contract extensions with Berk Uğurlu, Ante Žižić, Anthony Brown, and Devon Dotson, keeping four key players from last season’s roster ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Uğurlu averaged 6.7 points and 3.5 assists in 21.8 minutes per game during last season’s EuroCup, while Žižić posted 12.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in 22.6 minutes per contest.

Brown contributed 6.7 points and 3.5 assists in 25.1 minutes per game, while Dotson averaged 10.0 points and 4.2 assists in 20.2 minutes per appearance in the EuroCup.

With all four players remaining in Istanbul, Beşiktaş has taken another important step in retaining the core of the squad ahead of its return to the EuroLeague in the 2026/27 season.
