Anadolu Efes announced the addition of Mike James with a 1+1 contract.
The former player of Monaco moves to Turkey replacing Shane Larkin who left Efes for Fenerbahce.
Widely considered one of the most prolific scorers in European basketball history, he became the all-time leading scorer in EuroLeague history, surpassing the 5,000-point milestone.
Born in Portland, Oregon, James played collegiate basketball at Lamar University.
After going undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft, he built a legendary international career playing for top-tier clubs, including Baskonia, Panathinaikos, Olimpia Milano, CSKA Moscow, and AS Monaco.
He was named the EuroLeague MVP for the 2023–24 season and won the Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy in 2019.
He also appeared in 49 regular-season NBA games across stints with the Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, and Brooklyn Nets.
