Signed by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2013, he quickly earned a reputation as a gritty, hard-nosed defender and physical rebounder before transitioning to the Brooklyn Nets during the 2014–15 season. Davies evolved into a premier EuroLeague center, earning prestigious All-EuroLeague First Team honors in 2019 and a Second Team selection in 2021. His storied career featured stints with European powerhouses including Zalgiris, FC Barcelona, AX Armani Exchange Milano, and Partizan Mozzart Bet, ultimately securing domestic championship titles across Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Serbia, and France.
Renowned for his exceptional footwork, mid-range shooting, and interior scoring versatility, he concluded his final competitive season in Japan by averaging 13.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
