Keaton Wallace has signed a two-year contract to join Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, the team announced on Sunday.
He joined the EuroLeague club following recent reports that a deal was imminent.
Per the press release: “Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv has signed Keaton Wallace to a two-year contract. The American guard (1.91m / 6’3″, 27), who spent last season with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, brings high energy, strong rebounding, and the ability to create for both himself and his teammates.

“I am very pleased with the signing of a player with NBA experience”, club chairman Shimon Mizrahi told the official website. “In fact, as of now, he completes the puzzle of our roster construction, and this is the time to thank Claudio and the professional staff for their intensive work”.
“Keaton is a player who brings toughness and intensity on both ends of the floor”, head coach Oded Kattash explained to the club’s official website following the signing. “We are confident he will quickly connect with the team and the fans, helping us achieve our goals this season”.
“I’m ready to get to work with my new team, win games and have some fun!”, Keaton Wallace stated after signing his contract with Maccabi.

Keaton Wallace was born on February 26, 1999, and grew up in Richardson, Texas, just outside Dallas. He starred at Richardson High School before attending the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he quickly emerged as a leading scorer for the Roadrunners. In 2019, he dropped 45 points in a game against Marshall, drawing significant national attention.
After a senior season averaging 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, he declared for the 2021 NBA Draft. He went undrafted and played for the Memphis Grizzlies in Summer League. He then joined the Los Angeles Clippers‘ G League affiliate before signing with Atlanta in September 2023.
Last season, playing for the Skyhawks – Atlanta’s G League affiliate – he averaged 16.1 points (38.5% from three-point range), 6.3 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game. In October 2024, he made his NBA debut, appearing in 84 regular-season games (averaging 10 minutes per game) and three playoff games since.
In his rookie season, he scored 27 points in a game against Chicago and logged a triple-double (15 points, 15 assists, 11 rebounds) against Orlando. In his top performance of this past season, he posted 14 points and 7 rebounds against the Los Angeles Lakers. His younger brother, Cason Wallace, is a guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder.”
