The management of Unicaja Malaga is disappointed after the four consecutive defeats and negative course that the team has taken in Liga Endesa and Euroleague.

According to La Opinion de Malaga coach Juan Plaza, along with his staff, and the players were fined for the team’s bad performances and results.

The Andalusians have only won two out of their eight games in the Top 16 and have almost zero chances of making it to the next stage. When it comes to Liga Endesa, they are now at the ninth spot of the standings, being already in danger of staying out of the playoffs.

During the press conference before the game against Panathinaikos, Juan Plaza admitted that the team is making a move to sign a player, emphasizing that “we are Unicaja Malaga and we should fight against teams like Barcelona or Panathinaikos. However the most important game for our team is the upcoming match versus Zaragoza”
