Soumaila Keita, a 15-year-old prospect, left Spain for Dubai.
By the press release: “Dubai Basketball has exercised the buyout clause to sign Soumaila Keita, a player from Casademont Zaragoza.
The young player joined the club last summer from the Pablo Laso Academy. In addition to being part of the Liga U squad that finished fourth in his first year, he also played for the Junior and Cadete A teams. In fact, with the Cadete A team, he was named MVP of the Spanish Championship this season.
Furthermore, Keita played a key role for the Aragonese Cadete team that achieved the milestone of winning the bronze medal at the CESA (Spanish Championship of Autonomous Communities) held in Zaragoza in January.
