Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family attended the preparation game between Olympiacos and Promitheas, which was held behind closed doors in the refurbished practice facility of the EuroLeague champions.
Giannis’ presence is easily explained by the fact that his youngest brother, Alex Antetokounmpo, has signed with Promitheas Patras.
It has to be noted that Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra is currently in Athens, Greece, together with some of his staff members, and he is expected to meet with Giannis.
Meanwhile, Olympiacos, which is missing key players in its preparation due to the FIBA World Cup qualifiers, has added 40-year-old Bryant Dunston and George Pappas in their preseason roster to help with preparation.
Pappas, with 18 points, was the top scorer in the 77-63 Olympiacos win, while Tyson Ward added 14 points and Donta Hall had 13.
