Tyler Dorsey’s comments on a social media post caused quite a chaos at Olympiacos.
The EuroLeague champion’s guard commented on his role in the team, which had suddenly diminished in the past two games, as well as on his new contract, after which Olympiacos responded.
Dorsey was excluded from the team ahead of the match against Barcelona and immediately sent back to Athens. Georgios Bartzokas also addressed the situation, saying the decision is up to the management.
Per Eurohoops sources, under the team’s internal regulations, Tyler Dorsey has presented his explanation to Olympiacos management regarding his social media comments.
No decision has been reached yet concerning his future, and the rumors about talks with PAOK, either from the side of the player or Olympiacos, don’t have any solid basis.
In the meantime, Olympiacos will visit Barcelona at 20:30 CEST on Friday, in the sixth round of the EuroLeague.
