Confirming rumors about his next stop, Robert Franks completed his move to Partizan Mozzart Bet. The deal was announced on Friday.

The 29-year-old power forward brings a wealth of global experience to Belgrade, reinforcing a deep roster as the club navigates a complicated 2026–27 calendar.

Standing at 2.01 meters, the Seattle native launched his professional career in 2019 after playing at Washington State. He went undrafted but quickly proved himself, suiting up for several G League teams. His play led to a championship with the Lakeland Magic in 2021. That success earned him an NBA call-up, where he played seven games for the Orlando Magic.

Following his time in North America, the versatile big expanded his resume across the globe. He played in Australia for the Brisbane Bullets and Adelaide 36ers, spent a brief tenure in Israel with Hapoel Gilboa Galil, and spent the last three years in Asia with Japanese sides Nagoya Diamond Dolphins and Ibaraki Robots before a run with the Nanjing Monkey Kings in China, his final stop before moving to Serbia.

Joining the team coached by Joan Penarroya, Franks enters a squad that features Kyle Allman Jr., Uros Danilovic, Kevarrius Hayes, Tonye Jekiri, Carlik Jones, Arijan Lakic, Joffrey Lauvergne, Vanja Marinkovic, Mario Nakic, Alessandro Pajola, Antonio Reeves, Lamar Stevens, Bandja Sy, Nikola Tanaskovic, Ethan Thompson, Luca Vildoza, and Derek Willis.

Partizan is flying high in regional play, leading Group B of the AdmiralBet ABA League with a perfect 3–0 record. However, the EuroLeague has been a tougher test. At 4–3, they sit tied on the edge of the Play-In Showdown cutoff.
