As Round 8 of the 2026–27 EuroLeague Regular Season tips off Tuesday evening to open a two-game week, several teams face roster adjustments that will shape matchups on the leaderboard.
Sharing the top of the table with Fenerbahce Tarfin, Panathinaikos Aktor carries a 6–1 W-L tally directly opposite Armani Olimpia Milan in Telekom Center Athens on Tuesday. The visitors are trying to climb out of a 1–6 slump. Their task got harder with official morning news about forward Alec Peters being ruled out due a left knee contusion. The Greens, meanwhile, are in great shape. Nikos Rogkavopoulos is still sidelined, but the rest of the roster is ready.
At 4–3, FC Barcelona meets FC Bayern Munich’s 2–5 at SAP Garden. They get guard Dario Brizuela back after a brief muscle injury, though Yoan Makoundou remains out. The Spanish side needs this win to keep pace with the top tier, while Munich is desperate to protect their home court and break a two-game losing streak.
Seeking a sixth win in their ongoing continental campaign, Valencia hopes to match Fener with a win in a high-stakes battle at Roig Arena. They are nearly at full strength, missing only Nate Reuvers to a foot injury. In contrast, the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius is not facing injuries.
At 4–3, Real Madrid takes on bottom-placed Kosner Baskonia. They were already missing Gabriel Deck and Usman Garuba, and now Nick Smith Jr. has joined the injury list.
