Olympiacos faces Besiktas in Istanbul amid growing injury concerns

By Johnny Askounis/ info@eurohoops.net

Olympiacos center Nikola Milutinov is out for Wednesday’s game against Besiktas at Istanbul’s Turkcell Basketball Development Center.

The Serbian big was left out of the squad due to discomfort in the second toe of his right foot and is scheduled for medical tests.

Before this setback, he provided steady production, averaging 4.8 points and 7.8 rebounds over four appearances in the 2026–27 EuroLeague Regular Season.

Opening a two-game week with the Round 8 fixture, several other players will miss the trip as well. Jean Montero and Evan Fournier remain out, alongside Tyler Dorsey.

Meanwhile, new addition John Konchar is arriving in Greece on Tuesday. Following the recent announcement of his signing, he is scheduled to undergo a standard medical evaluation shortly after landing. Therefore, the 30-year-old guard-forward remains unregistered.

Furthermore, Euroleague Basketball has shared the official injury report for all teams across the league, providing a comprehensive look at the absences impacting rosters ahead of the upcoming slate of fixtures.
