Zeljko Obradovic after the big second win over Real Madrid, tried to keep his team alert, speaking about what must be done in Madrid by Fenerbahce.

As he said: “Before the first game, we tried to figure out what we needed to do. Tonight, I am very pleased with our game. The big difference in the score gave us energy and confidence. It’s not normal to finish the first half against the European champions with a 25 points advantage. But we’re motivated and we were focused until the end. I congratulate my players for their performance and concentration. I want to thank the fans for the atmosphere they created. After the first game we took a half step, now we completed our first step. We’ve got to get one more step to get to the Final Four and I say that to my players. Things in Madrid will not be easy, but our confidence will be high. Either way we need to win next game”.

As for coach Pablo Laso of Real Madrid, he accepted the obvious: “There is nothing to say about the game. They finished it in the first half. They dominated physically and mentally and we did not respond to their aggresive play. We were not able to come back in the second half. Now what matters is to fight in the next game”.
